This was my first time staying at an Ibis Hotel, and I must say, I was impressed. What drew me here was the free parking option, but also just having somewhere to park my car. The hotel room was very nice; it was relatively soundproof, considering it was parallel to a main road. It took me a while to figure out that the windows had pull-down blinds... It took an entire restless night to figure out that the horrible noise was coming from the radiator! The room was well stocked with supplies, though, and when I needed some more, I asked one of the chamber maids who was only too happy to help me. I also liked the PAYG breakfast arrangement, which meant I could choose whether or not I would take breakfast but without the burden of paying for it upfront and then perhaps not having breakfast 😉. Incidentally, I thought the breakfast was reasonably priced at £11.50 and it came with a good variety of options.

This is the best hotel I think we have EVER stayed in. Bit expensive but honestly the room was so clean & well equipped! Had a fan, hairdryer, light up Mirror in the bathroom which makes it like a make up mirror, the shower was big and a walk in type one, the bed and pillows was big & amazingly comfortable, so much so I even tried to find out what mattress they used, it had extra pillows & tea/ coffee / sugar & milk with a kettle in the room, the bar is 24 hours & they even offered us food when we finally arrived at 2AM. , the bar / reception was stunning, very modern & lots of seating & charger ports to chill in there. The hotel was even PET FRIENDLY, which we LOVE! 100% will be going back & will always go back again.

We had a room on the ground floor and were able to park outside the room. The room had everything you needed and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was included in the price - buffet all you can eat. It was warm and the bacon was nice. There isn’t much to see or do round the hotel - it’s close to the A38 for onward journey to Cornwall. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel so we caught the 50 bus into a Plymouth. Got off in the centre and then just crossed the road and caught the 25 to the Hoe. Think the last bus back to the hotel was around 11 pm.

This hotel is exactly what you should expect, a great place to sleep! The room was clean and comfortable and had everything you should need. The restaurant and lounge area were refurbished and had a lovely balcony to eat or enjoy your drink. Breakfast had everything you could need on a buffet and it was delicious. While staying I had a few issues (not hotel related) and the staff here were second to none! There a real credit to this hotel and truly hope they are appreciated😊

I have stayed at the hotel several time in the past, and usually it has been a good starting point for the journey back to the M5 motorway. This time a travelled by taxi, so the above advantage was absent, but i still found the hotel very good. Since previous stays, the bathrooms had obviously undergone a complete refurbishment, which nicely removed the only point of criticism that I would previously have had; the bathroom upgrade was, in my opinion, excellent.
